If you are wondering why I have two versions of Diablo II LoD with PlugY 11.02 - it is because of the variety of versions that exists for the game. I personally don't play on Battle.net with any of these versions (I have experimented with it and I can atleast connect to Battle.net) but I am pretty sure that you can play both Single Player PlugY go into your D2SE folder > CORES > [version] > saves - and cut your nulled characters info to a separate folder. Go into D2 and create a new character with the same name and class. You'll see the files have been replaced fully. Delete the NEW name.d2s file and replace it with your OLD one. Try copying and pasting the plugy FOLDER in the PROJECT D2 and the D2 FOLDERS. I had some trouble with it and this solved it for some reason. My sense is that PLUGY was designed to get permissions or files from where it found the original diablo 2 files in some cases. This way it can still find what it needs. Jun 13, 2006 · As long as you have the files in the correct place a simple shortcut to "Game.exe" or "Diablo II.exe" will suffice. To change the SavePath just copy the PlugY.ini to either your main D2 folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Diablo II\) or if running in direct mode copy PlugY.ini to the "Start-In" folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Diablo II\ZyEl\) and Save character file separately to where D2 saves them. Load character from where D2 loads characters and put item to dupe in shared stash. Copy and paste saved char file in other location to where game saves char, effectively overwriting the char you just used. 1.
